Usman joined Hassan Law as an Associate Lawyer in March, 2025. 
Before immigrating to Canada, Usman worked for over 5 years at one of the largest corporate law firms in Pakistan- Cornelius, Lane & Mufti. Usman also worked briefly at the office of Attorney General of Pakistan, where he assisted the Attorney General in cases involving the Federation, at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

After passing the Ontario bar exams in 2024, Usman initially joined a real estate law firm as an Associate, where he focused on residential and commercial real estate closings. Later, he got the opportunity to work at Deloitte LLP as an independent contractor Lawyer. His role was to review and vet various legal documents and provide high level comments. 

A graduate of Berkeley, Usman has built his legal expertise as a generalist corporate lawyer,  handling various legal matters such as taxation, corporate compliance, company matters, constitutional interpretation questions, environmental law matters, contractual disputes and alternate dispute resolution cases. 

At Hassan Law, Usman focuses on commercial law and personal injury matters, along with family litigation cases.

Outside of office, Usman enjoys exploring London’s food scene and its beautiful parks in his free time.
